Computer produced, precision cut, pre-spaced vinyl letters & symbols are pressure sensitive and easy to apply. Available with adhesive on front or back, vinyl graphics can be applied to any relatively smooth nonporous finish by the user or factory applied on any type sign. Many colors are available in reflective or non-reflective material. Popular letter styles, symbols, logos and designs may be reproduced in almost any color or size.

PART 1 - GENERAL

1.01 SUMMARY

A. This section includes the following:

Products supplied in this section are to be installed by others.

1.02 SUBMITTALS

A. Manufacturer's Data: Submit manufacturer's descriptive literature and specifications, including color samples of material for selection, as applicable for approval.

B. Submit shop drawings listing sign styles, lettering and locations, and overall dimensions of each sign.

C. Submit full size sample sign of type, style and color specified including method of attachment.

D. Manufacturers must submit 3 references showing comparable products for projects completed within the last 5 years.

E. Submit manufacturer's standard warranty information.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.01 MANUFACTURER

2.02 FABRICATION

A. Vinyl letters and symbols shall be precision computer cut vinyl with an exterior life of between 5 and 7 years.
Lettering shall be [specify size] Helvetica Medium [or specify typestyle].
Adhesive shall be on [specify front or back].
Colors shall be chosen from available standard colors [specify].
Backer [specify material and size].

PART 3 - EXECUTION

3.01 INSTALLATION

A. General: Locate sign units and accessories where indicated, using mounting methods of the type described and in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Install sign level, plumb, and at height indicated.

B. Mount using methods indicated below: [specify method below].
Vinyl shall be pre-spaced and mounted on a carrier for easy installation.
If backer is required, attach to wall using [specify vinyl foam tape or holes and screws].

3.02 SCHEDULE
